Heat oven to 350F°
Add almond flour, cinnamon, salt, and softened butter to a medium mixing bowl
Mix until all ingredients are combined and mixture is crumbly
Peel and chop apples into ½" cubes
Add chopped apples and stir in lemond juice so all apples are coated
Add honey and cinnamon
Stir until everything is combined and apples are coated with the honey and cinnamon
Lightly oil or butter a 8x8" baking dish
Pour apple mixture into baking dish and spread into an even layer
Drop topping over top of apples in an even layer
Cover baking dish with foil
Bake covered for 25 minutes
Remove foil and continue baking for 20 - 25 minutes until apples are soft
Allow dish to cool on wire rack for 10 minutes
Serve warm if desired
Store in refrigerator - be sure to cool to room temperature before refrigerating
