SCD Tip: Frozen Yogurt Bites

I love easy SCD snacks and one of my favorite things to make are frozen yogurt bites. You can do any flavor you like. I’ve done pumpkin, cherry, peach, strawberry, banana, strawberry-banana, blueberry-banana, banana-peanut butter, you get the idea.

I like to do this when my bananas get too ripe for me to want to eat them – like a little too soft. I’ll blend them with some yogurt and whatever fruit I have on hand. It can be fresh or frozen. That’s all you need to do. It’s can be as simple as two ingredients and there are endless combinations!

I used to use mini-muffin pans to make my bites, but now I use silicon molds. The silicon is way easier to pop the bites of once they are frozen.

All you need to do is blend your flavors, pour into the molds, freeze for a few hours, pop them out and store them in a freezer-safe container. Then you have a refreshing snack any time you want!
