SCD Recipe: Strawberry Bananacake Stack

Following the Specific Carbohydrate Diet sometimes ┬ámeans getting creative with the food you have available. I pretty much always have bananas and yogurt. While just bananas and yogurt is fine for breakfast, snack, or when you’re really hungry and there isn’t anything else handy, it’s fun to try to amp things up a bit.

Making bananas into pancakes, whipping up some yogurt with honey, and slicing some strawberries makes a kind of strawberry shortcake-like desssert. I’ve made other strawberry shortcake recipes, but they are more advanced and time consuming. I made this in about 15 minutes. The limited ingredients also makes it good for those who are newer to the diet.
